Will SCOTUS uphold or defeat Fascism?

The Supreme Court is hearing arguments this week on the Constitutionality of Obamacare. Obama's grandiose plan, fashioned mostly by Insurance Behemoths would require Americans to purchase heath insurance or pay a penalty.

Hippies and other fragrance challenged folks love the idea. Those of us who are responsible adults realize that such a scheme is overtly fascist by definition.

Let's say that America does jump off the cliff, completely buy into this insurance-company-enriching nightmare of a debacle and uphold the Constitutionality of the current law. What else can the Government require you to buy? A Government Motors Chevy Volt? A propane powered mulching lawnmower?

What about firearms?

My utterly facetious and outrageous proposal is to make firearms purchases mandatory. Each citizen will be forced to buy a gun, regardless of their financial means to do so or their moral opposition to firearms. This will of course lower the cost of guns for all people and reduce the need for Government provided police and military forces. Crime would undoubtedly plummet! Gun companies could employ thousands more people!

The all knowing Government is happily speeding down the proverbial slippery slope towards dictatorship. Let's hope the Supreme Court puts the brakes on Obama's idiotic plans.

.40 S&W

The .40 S & W.

The big 4-oh.

The magic compromise between 9 mm and .45 ACP. I have no complaints whatsoever about this caliber. It's used by law enforcement all over this section of the planet called the USA.

If you carry a weapon chambered in it, good on ya!

Ladies and gentlemen. Stop fretting about wether the caliber you carry is good enough. The real question is are YOU good enough?

Unless you are carrying something in .22LR or .25 ACP, quit worrying about your caliber selection and worry about wether you can make good hits on a target, drawing from concealment, on the move shooting at a moving target.

I'm 100% confident carrying a Glock 17 with 9 mm 127 grain +P+ Winchester Ranger T ammo.

Don't sweat the small stuff.

The RoadGunner Podcast is pleased to announce the until a National Reciprocity law is passed, The Un-Named Trucker and The Un-Named Wife will not be accepting loads that originate or are destined for the following States: Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, or Maryland. We will not travel through these States due to their draconian gun laws. Although they always travel with firearms legally under Federal statutes, The Un-Named Team feels that the ignorance or intolerance of local authorities put them at undue risk of persecution or prosecution by anti-gun authorities. Adding the TSA to the mix adds even more undue risk, as they believe the TSA to be an incompetent nightmare of a Gestapo-like organization. The Un-Named Trucker's decision made with his wife will preclude the travel to other New England States where his permit is honored due to the fact that travel through boycotted states is necessary to access those more enlightened places. If and when those places recognize the Second Amendment to the Constitution, they will resume operations in those States.
